DPF In-Person Event

On October 10, 2026, The Doctor Patient Forum held an in-person event in Columbus, Ohio, bringing together patients, advocates, and physicians to discuss the impact of more than a decade of opioid-reduction policies. DPF presented national and Ohio-specific data and discussed forced tapering, patient abandonment, risk-scoring systems, and the ongoing lack of meaningful patient-outcome tracking. A physician also spoke about the harm being done to pain patients, followed by questions, discussion, and a wonderful time of community. We were especially excited to meet so many of you in person for the very first time. Thank you to everyone who came, shared your experiences, asked questions, and made the day so special. We are incredibly grateful for this community.
